A program produced in collaboration with United Way. There are more Californians living in poverty than most people think. Poverty is grossly undercounted across the nation, but especially so in California, since most Californians live in high cost areas. In Sonoma County more than 25% of households  (37,000+) are living below the ‘real cost measure’ index. Please join us to discuss how the ‘real cost index’ measures can serve to change policies that begin to address these socio-economic inequities.

  • Speakers
    • Peter Manzo – President and CEO of United Ways of California
    • Henry Gascon – Director, Program and Policy Development at United Ways of California.
