Join us for the 9th Annual State of the Latino Community Address at Sonoma State University on September 29, 2022 from 7am – 12pm; doors open at 7am and program starts at 8am. The State of the Latino Community Address is Los Cien’s most important annual attended conversation of the year. Over 500 people gather at Sonoma State University to listen to subject matter experts and keynote speakers who delve deep into local issues and how they impact the Latinx community. As we enter our third year of the pandemic, we are reminded of the challenges we have endured and the pain many in our Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, undocumented and low-income communities have borne. The Portrait of Sonoma update of 2022 demonstrated that many issues in the Latino community are also felt by the BIPOC community. This is why we are focusing the State of the Latino Community Address on building trust and convening a conversation on how to begin to construct multi-racial unity so that we can address these issues together and move from recovery to restructuring.

We encourage you to join us and be at the table – if we are going to repair these unfair systems, we must start where the pain has been the hardest, where the trauma has been the deepest, and where the disadvantage has been the starkest. When we invest here, we will have the most incredible opportunity to reimagine a new social and economic construct that best supports those at greatest risk from a future pandemic and environmental and economic disasters.

We are sold out! If you are interested in attending, please join our waiting list.
