Please join Los Cien, who in partnership with NALEO (National Association of Latino Elected Officials), will be presenting “California Redistricting 101”. This program will provide our viewers a basic understanding of California’s redistricting efforts promulgated by the enactment of the Voter’s First Act (2011).  We will discuss the creation, composition, and function of the 2020 California Citizens Redistricting Commission (CCRC). The CCRD is now responsible for drawing the district lines for the State Senate, Assembly, and State Board of Equalization which will be in effect for the next 10 years.

We will also proudly introduce Mr. Pedro Toledo (Petaluma, CA) who was selected as  1 of 4 14 Commissioners to sit on this committee.  Finally we will also cover basic information on how maps must be drawn, how YOU can participate in drawing YOUR own map for CCRC consideration, and all pertinent deadlines. Please join Los Cien at this informative event!
