Magali Telles was born in Michoacán, Mexico but raised in Fresno, California. She was the first in her family to attend a four-year university and received her bachelor’s degree from Sonoma State University in Sociology and continued her love of learning with the completion of her Master’s degree in Education also from her Alma Mater.

For close to 18 years she assisted students and their families, connecting them to resources in the college readiness and admissions process on a local and statewide level. Holding a special focus on Latino families by providing them with culturally relevant resources and academic guidance.

Magali is passionate about creating a more equitable playing field for all who call Sonoma County home and believes this can be achieved through our youth and families.
