Quetzali was born and raised in Santa Rosa, where she developed a passion for digital media at a young age, creating videos and exploring storytelling long before she imagined it could become a career. What began as a hobby eventually evolved into a meaningful part of her work by building a strong foundation in digital storytelling, visual media, and communications. She’s excited to bring these skills into her role as a Communications Coordinator!

She is a graduate of San José State University, where she earned her B.A. in Global Studies with a minor in Political Science, focusing on environmental justice, equity, and community-centered systems.
