AnnaMaria Tamayo, a native of Sonoma County who currently resides in Santa Rosa, is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Sonoma State University. Growing up in a community where her grandparents were active members, she was inspired by their commitment to service, instilling in her a passion for community engagement and advocacy.

AnnaMaria’s journey led her to serve as a Senior Field Representative for the California State Assembly, effectively liaising between Assemblymember Damon Connolly and constituents, government agencies, and community stakeholders across a multi-county district. Her dedication to serving the community extends to her volunteer work with Los Cien, Sonoma County Latino Leaders, where she plays a role in planning and executing events addressing important issues facing the Latinx community.
