What an Inspiring, Fifth annual Latino Cultural Experience! Once again for another consecutive year, we had a Los Cien sold out luncheon. Our Partnering Chefs, Pedro and Octavio Diaz, Owners of Agave Healdsburg and El Gallo Negro (El Farrolito) voted once again 2018 Best Mexican Restaurant by the Press Democrat voters, made sure all had a great luncheon and enjoyed a gourmet meal. Big Hug to the Diaz brothers for their continued Support.

The event returned to the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts. Awesome working with Rick Nowlin, President & CEO and his entire staff. Thank you also to our co-host the Santa Rosa City Schools as well, and Special Thank you to Superintendent Diann Kitamuro and staff.

Los Cien is so very thankful for their support, to make this year’s “Latino Cultural Experience”, very special!  And I was so happy to have another sold out year, considering increased seating. Great times for all. We thank both Co-Hosts, for also presenting an evening program “Mariachi Celebration” with our visiting guest and award winners, “Voces de Jalisco”. We all learned why they were award-winning, plus our hometown

Mariachi lead by Jose Soto, now called “Cantares de mi Tierra”. They performed to a well-attended audience! Again, Left Inspired!!!

Una Vez Mas, Gracias, Gracias, to Pedro and Octavio, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts and Santa Rosa City Schools, One more Strong Los Cien and Herman Hug!

This is the perfect way to, Kick off the Fifth annual “Latino Heritage Month”, from September 15th through October 15th. Want to follow the upcoming Cultural Events, check out the Press Democrat!

Latino Heritage will be the focus of a special section in the Press Democrat on Sunday, September 2, where they’ll provide a listing of the many upcoming cultural events in our community through the end of the year and will share stories on the creative ways that cultural traditions are being passed down to the younger generations here in Sonoma County.

One More Gracias, to Career Technical Education Foundation (CTE) for their support and Bank of America and Merrill Lynch for their unified sponsorships, which included 35 students and Community Engagers to be at the table and attend this event. What a special honor! A special thank you for the continued support and sponsorships.
