Long-time Guerneville businessman and community activist Herman J. Hernandez will be honored with a Citizen of the Year award from the Santa Rosa Metro Chamber of Commerce March 29 at Sonoma State University.
Hernandez said he was surprised and inspired to learn of the award that recognizes Hernandez’ work with the Latino community mainly through Los Cien Sonoma County, the group of Latino leaders who support projects that mentor the university’s Latino students.
